It is about a 19-year-old mentally disturbed woman with headphones as her constant companion who faces arrest. The story's theme is the necessity of change. I love this quote, from Chuck Palahniuk, and I think it fits my protagonist's views well: "People don't want their lives fixed. Nobody wants their problems solved. Their dramas. Their distractions. Their stories resolved. Their messed cleaned up. Because what would they have left? Just the big scary unknown. "
I would like feedback on tone, grammar, and structure. And, whether it's an enjyable read, of course! Thank you!
