Looking to Critique

I'm currently writing...

I’m currently writing a novel, Disguised Reflection. It is a murder/mystery with a chicklit feel. I am not out to recreate the wheel, I am simply adding my flair. I’m in the first rewrite phase my manuscript. It has been through one editorial review.

I am concurrently working on a new manuscript with the working title ‘One More Moment.’ Is no where near completion.

I have published one novel, Chasing Avenues. A true piece of delicious chicklit.

More About Me

I’m an avid runner! My best work is done at this time…the words spin in my brain as I hit the pavement. It is almost as if I memorize the text; I know exactly what I need to correct (down to a misspelled word) when I return.

I’m the mother of two of young sons. I stay home. Writing is my ‘work.’ It’s my me-time. I’m blessed to stay home, I basically demanded it, and so the writing is for my personal growth. I’ve always wanted to explore writing…and I am going for it.

I read, I read, I read, I read. I love getting lost in a book. However, I do read for errors. It’s habit now, after many, many, many rereads of my own work.

Speaking of which, I have learned that no matter how many times an author reads their work they will never catch all mistakes. It’s very frustrating, but true.
