| I'm currently writing... |
I’ve recently begun outlining my third novel: literary/contemporary women’s fiction with slivers of magic. It’s set in Wales, as are all my stories. It concerns two sisters & an old secret. I write about sisters a lot. And about birds, rain, secrets, the nature of loss, & benign magic. |

| What is your writing experience? |
I have been writing for years. Have experience as a journalist & a journaler. Dislike the term ‘blog’ although I write a regular one. My first novel was self-published which has proved a double-edged sword. I am seeking representation for my second, recently completed book. I write every day & have done so for years. I am commited to & serious about my work. |
| My writing influences are... |
‘Influence’ is I feel an emotive term. I admire many writers & have been told I write like Alice Hoffman. I’m very private & although I do occasionally attend writing workshops, I don’t really ‘do’ events. I am an admirer of Virginia Woolf, AS Byatt, Margaret Atwood, Sue Gee, Joanne Harris, Maggie O’Farrell & Suzanne Power, to name a few. |
| Books I enjoy reading |
At present I’m reading, ‘Of Blessed Memory’ by Erica Jong & enjoying it immensely. I recently read, ‘Mrs Woolf & the Servants’ by Alison Light. |

| More About Me |
I write because I can’t take decent photographs, juggle or play the piano. I tell everyone I’m a survivor of arrested development. Largely because its true. Essentially, I write. |
