| I'm currently writing... |
I am writing a contemporary women’s fiction book about two women that take a trip to celebrate their 40th birthdays. The story is both humorous and heartfelt as the two women are navigating the tricky paths of their own lives as well as the many wrong turns their ‘girl trip’ takes them. |

| What is your writing experience? |
I currently have two YA paranormal mystery novels (in a series) published; self-published under my own publishing company. And also have a short story mystery series going on Amazon under the same publishing company. In addition, I am self-publishing children’s books on Kindle. |
| My writing influences are... |
A broad mix; including Jennifer Weiner, Julia Glass, Tana French, Tracy Brogan, T. Greenwood, Suzanne Collins. Love contemporary writing, mostly. Love writing paranormal mystery for the younger audience (although seems to appeal to older women, too!), but am focusing currently on the contemporary women’s novel. |
| Books I enjoy reading |
Hopeless by Colleen Hoover was great. Am really enjoy Tracy Brogan’s Crazy Little Thing right now! |

I have really enjoyed self-publishing my series, and it has been well-received. The marketing and publishing aspect is tough, and time intense and I’ve loved every minute of it. However, with this new women’s contemporary novel, I would like to give the agent route a try, and see if I can go traditional publishing under a pen name. Should be a fun journey! |
