Looking to Critique

I'm currently writing...

I am currently writing two books, both young adult urban fantasies. I would probably be looking for one critique partner for each.
The first one, working title The Faery Curse, is set in a futuristic dystopian-fantasy world populated by faeries, demons, mages, vampires and werewolves, among others. The main character is a homeless girl cursed by a vengeful faery who searches for a cure. It would be suitable for 14+, and contains mild scenes of violence, torture, gore and sexual assault.

The second

, working title The Exorcist’s Apprentice, is a novel about a teenage girl who moves to a town plagued by horrific murders and works with an exorcist to get rid of the possessing demon attempting to open a gate to hell. It would also be suitable for 14+ and contains strong scenes of violence, gore and disturbing content.

Both have dark tones, some swearing and sarcastic humour. Minimal, almost non existent romance, and strong themes of human strength, familial devotion and loving your friends.

If you contact me, please specify which one you would like to critique! ;-)

More About Me

Fluent in Irish slang, not so much the language. Loves country and rock music. Currently sick of certain overused trends in YA urban fantasy and paranormal romance and hates weak female characters – weak, as in, lacking strong personality.
