| I'm currently writing... |
I’m currently working on a young adult novel that is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. Its setting is similar to the original (sort of a medieval-ish French-ish kind of country), but the story focuses on answering some questions that I think are very unanswered in most of the versions of the story. |

Not a ton of experience, but I’m getting more serious about it. Recently took third-place in a small flash fiction contest (fun!). Would like to publish someday. |

I adore Shannon Hale (my dream is to someday magically be able to write like her). Brandon Sanderson, though I’ll never write like him. Cameron Dokey’s fairytale retellings. |

| More About Me |
I’m a full-time mom, which takes up most of my time. It’s only in the past year or so that I’ve really started trying to write more seriously (which has always been a dream of mine). I want to write novels mostly, but I’m also trying out short stories right now. Oh, and I blog randomly and sporadically. I’m looking for a critique partner to offer some serious feedback (and a bit of encouragement too!) and help keep me going when I want to procrastinate instead. |
