A YA fantasy set in the modern day. My story is a retelling of Sleeping Beauty, placing the heroin in small town Texas during her slumber. When she is suddenly transported back to the magical world, she has no memory of being a princess. |

I tend to go for authors that create a slow build to romance. I want to fall in love right along with the character. That’s why I love Jane Austin and her flawed but endearing love interests. To me those are the ones that keep me thinking about the story long after I close the book. |
| Books I enjoy reading |
Richelle Mead’s Golden Lily was my last enjoyable read. I couldn’t put it down due to the opposites attract scenario. I just had to see it play out. |

| More About Me |
I’m a former elementary school teacher that is currently staying at home to chase my rugrats. My husband is a farmer so we of course live inthe middle of nowhere. As glorious as country living can be it’s also extrememly isolating. Literature is my escape. Reading and writing gives me the forum to live vicariously through others. |
