| I'm currently writing... |
I’ve written a young adult, alternate history novel. It’s an adventure about about pirates in the 18th century. My MC is a girl. In my alternate history, the crimes of pirates pass onto their next-of-kin, so she becomes a pirate by default. She has an unlikely love interest. The voice leans more light than dark, although I do feel like it has high stakes. It’s just lacking the teen angst that sometimes makes a story darker. |

| What I want in an awesome Critique Partner |
Deep critique. I am experienced with critiquing. |
| The type of structure you like | |
| How often can you give & receive feedback? | |
| What is your writing experience? |
I write daily–at least a couple hours a day. I have a finished manuscript that I’d love to get (impartial) feedback on. I’ve started the querying process, but I’m only a week in. I have two previous manuscripts that will never see the light of day. I also have a WIP that I’m excited about. I’ve been writing for about 10 years. |
| My writing influences are... |
JK Rowling, Suzanne Collins, um… I should have more here |
| Books I enjoy reading |

My book club blog: Or you can check out my goodreads: I have a blog that I haven’t updated since March, but I never talk about writing on there. It’s mostly nonsense and links to You Tube videos and stuff about my kids. Oh, but I did have this sweet Hunger Games cake decorating contest on my blog to celebrate the release of Catching Fire: And then again the next year for Mockingjay: |
| More About Me |
I’m a married stay at home mom of three boys. I read widely, but I lean towards YA with a love angle. I’ve been writing for a long time. I never talk to my IRL friends about writing because I don’t want to risk alienating them (plus I’m shy about it I guess). I can be a perfectionist. I’m nice. Why does this feel so awkward? I hate that sideways smile thing |
