I just finished writing a book about a teenage thief who steals more than she bargained for–the key to the apocalypse. Now she has to team up with Cal, a member of the ancient Order she stole the key from, to steal it back before all Hell breaks loose. |

I am published, but with a small indie publisher (not self-pub) several years ago, and I’m actively seeking an agent. I usually write about 5k words/per week. |
| My writing influences are... |
There isn’t a whole lot that doesn’t influence my writing–media, other books, tv shows, real life experiences… |
| Books I enjoy reading |
The last book that really floored me was The 5th Wave. My tastes do run mostly YA; my favorite authors include Veronica Roth, Cassandra Clare, Jackson Pearce, Holly Black, Frannie Billingsley, Robin McKinley, Michelle Cooper, and Barbara Kingsolver. Oh, and J.K. Rowling, of COURSE. |

| More About Me |
I live in northeastern Pennsylvania, with my husband, two dogs, and two cats. I work full-time as a phlebotomist, though my goal is to work full-time as a writer. I’ve been at this for about seven years now, which is why I’m looking for a critique partner to help me figure out what I’m missing. |
