an historical novel based on the Kindertransport (evacuation of Jewish children from Germany, Austria, and Poland). The story is a composite, and the main character is not identifiable. She is a young girl who went from Berlin to England, and the story chronicles the results of trauma, survivor guilt, etc. later in life. |

Retired; have two grown daughters and two grandchildren; active in our church, where we work with immigrants and refugees, as well as with single mums and low-income families. Love gardening, but we recently sold our home and moved to an apartment. Love to travel. Have been to England, Wales, Germany, Belgium, and Holland. Planning a trip to Scotland next year. We were missionaries in the Amazon area of Brazil for over 5 years. |
