Looking to Critique

I'm currently writing...

I’m currently alternating between two projects, both character-oriented supernatural fiction novels packed with action, drama, and romance.

Blood Stemma is the main novel I’m working on. It revolves around a group of blood-related vampires and their struggles in a world where humans and vampires coexist together but separate. Though there overall society has undergone modifications that accommodate both species, there remains the underlying distrust between them. This story projects really far on, I’m still digging and it just keeps showing me awesome stuff.

The second story doesn’t yet have a title, but revolves around the life of a shape-shifter woman and the shifter communities of the American continent (namely USA and Brazil). This story has a more dramatic component, though the narrative in 1st person POV by the main character infuses it with a sort of sassy tinge.

I have dabbled here & there

Are you pursuing publication?

I’m not sure yet.

What I want in an awesome Critique Partner

How often can you give & receive feedback?

Bi Weekly

What is your writing experience?

Weekly I can jot down anything from two thousand to ten thousand words. I’ve written over a million ‘practice’ words, and while my initial attempts were apropriately burned away, I’m by no means an expert. I’m not published, and I have yet to finish a project.

Books I enjoy reading

I have the rare gift of enjoying most books, from most genres, regardless of the literary prowess of the writer. I read everything from C. S. Lewis to Stephen King, R. K. Rowling to Charlaine Harris.

More About Me

This is probably important. My native language isn’t English, and I have no literary training whatsoever. All I know I’ve learned by reading and imitating.

Aside from that, I love critiquing. I strive to be constructive at all times, but also to say everything that needs be said to help. I’ve been accused of having a great attention to detail, something I’m slightly proud of.
