| I'm currently writing... |
I am writing a contemporary women’s fiction novel with a humorous tone. It explores the complex dynamics of family, friends and the relationships we build throughout our lives. It also will address that no matter how far away the past might seem, it can always resurface — especially when you least expect. |

| More About Me |
A lifelong Nebraskan, who briefly strayed to Houston for a one-year stint, I love books, music and football (watching, not playing). Trained as a journalist, and working in corporate communications 8-5, my real love is crafting fiction stories. I have traveled extensively for work and am inching closer to achieving my goal of visiting all 50 states. My story ideas come from everywhere — places I’ve been, people I’ve met and the life I observe around me. Family is important to me. I am the third of four children and the oldest of the two girls. I am close to all of my siblings and my parents, who are all supportive of my writing goals, though not always sure how to offer feedback. I’d like to think I’m laid back, but I can definitely feel the pressure when a deadline hits. I pride myself in being able to step back to take a look at the big picture before diving in to tackle the details. |
