I’m writing a contemporary gothic romance. Miranda is a young artist struggling to overcome a difficult past. On an island off the Maine coast, she finds love in the form of Owen Larsen, a kind-hearted landscaper with a gift for making musical instruments. But despite its beauty, the island has its secrets, revolving around the death of a beloved painter, Suzanna White, seven years earlier. To start a new life on the island with Owen, Miranda must discover the truth about the island’s history — and why Owen keeps appearing at the center of it — before her own past catches up with her.

Not published, but serious about writing and publishing. Prior to this WIP, I wrote a YA epic fantasy novel (in revisions/on hold for now) and some short stories.

For my current WIP I’d say Jane Eyre meets Janet Evanovich.

I write and draw a weekly(ish) cozy mystery comic called Linear B. It’s posted at my blog and also at its own website: http://linearb.thecomicseries.com/

Let’s see… I’m 28. I’m married to a marvelous man; we live in a microscopically small city apartment. I’m an attorney but I (happily) do not practice law anymore. Instead I work in legal writing.
