I'm currently writing...

a urban mythology chick lit novel. On the eve of her 30th birthday, a black sheep gorgon named Medusa, discovers she does not have the genetic disease that can turn living things into stone. She realizes a a life and love among humans is possible, that her current job as Hermes’s assistant is going nowhere, and it’s time for a change. But her ex boyfriend and former god of war, Ares, won’t let her forget the blood oath they took six months ago, and he wants her back. Although she is trying to make her new relationship with a human named Adam work, she can’t shake the crush she has on Prometheus, and she can’t shake the feeling that something strange has been awakened inside her, mixing with Ares blood, making her feel paranoid and alone. She must learn her true origins, accept herself, and hew new fate in order to find the courage to battle vengeful Ares once and for all.

More About Me

I’m 32 year old, married woman who loves the odd side of life. I can laugh at anything, and looking for a critique partner who can do the same. I’m currently in a local critique group but looking to get a fresh eye on my work. I’m a big nerd with a lot of things (star wars, back to the future, phillip k dick movie adaptions, beatles, etc). I’m not into YA. I love sci-fi esque stuff, and long for a dystopic future. A girl can dream right?
