I am writing a young adult novel

In control Katie, is secretly afraid of death. Ironically enough, her best friend Jude has spent most of his life tittering on the edge of life. Have cancer, get treatment, beat cancer, live a normal life. But when Jude finds himself out of remission for the third time in his life he starts to contemplate if life and death are really just black and white.
