Looking to Critique

a book about a young man, Will, who kills himself after the death of his girlfriend. The story starts with him wandering through a forest to the Acheron River (Styx depending on who your reading). The spirit Ariel guides him to the ferryman’s daughter who, as a favor, brings Will back to life when he expresses regret to the ferryman’s daughter .
Born again he can see all manner of supernatural things. The ferryman’s daughter sends him with Ariel to mental hospital as patients to help “a girl in trouble”…

I write when I’m bord but usually toss it. I am trying to write a novella or novel really…how ever long it will run.

I found inspiration in The Divine Comedy, The Tempest, Ovid’s Metamorphesis, Greek Mythology, and countless horror titles(movie or book)…

I love horror supernatural fiction though not so much the YA books on vampires though I have to admit I read twilight and that killed it for me.

I like old cultures and the idea of travel. If I had money it would be less an idea more of a I’m writing this somewhere by the Mediterranean.
