a novel (my first) that is commercial, women’s fiction written with (I hope) a light touch. It’s about a young woman set to marry her adoring boyfriend, but her perfect life is derailed when she remembers a past life. Although she doesn’t believe in reincarnation at first, her curiosity leads her to uncover a roller-coaster life lived 70 years before as a beautiful Italian-American woman married to a well-to-do surgeon.

Everything from Jane Austen to Adriana Trigiani.
|Books I enjoy reading||
I just finished “Please Look After Mom” for my book club and loved it. I enjoy a wide range of fiction from mysteries to adventure romance.
|More About Me||
I live outside of Boston with my husband, two kids (aged 18 and 20), and cats and dog. Years ago I worked as a full-time technical writer and editor, and I’ve done some freelance writing and editing since then. I’ve never attempted a novel before and have most of the first draft done. I’m looking for a critique partner who loves to read (no other credentials required) and would tell me what they liked and didn’t like about my book (i.e. where they laughed, where they dozed off, where they would have put the book down if they hadn’t agreed to keep reading…) and I would be happy to do the same for her or him.
