I’m preparing to query a YA dark fantasy, Dark Waters.

When sixteen-year-old Allura accidentally absorbs human blood, a flurry of flesh-hungry cravings buried within her DNA is ignited. Her new hunting abilities put her center stage in a plan her kind has constructed to revert to the murderous lifestyle of their folkloric ancestors.

DARK WATERS is Dexter meets Splash, where the deadliest of female folkloric creatures are placed in today’s society and commanded to play well with others.

I love Mermaids and Vampires the most! I’m a mother of two elementary age daughters, and wife to a very supportive husband. I live in Washington state and love it. I aspire very much to be a published author and take it seriously in the amount of research and time I put into advancing in the craft and locating the right agents. I like to support others in their dream of becoming published also.

My favorite TV show ever was Moonlight, and I was very upset (still am) when it was canceled. Nowadays I watch Dexter, Vampire Diaries, True Blood, and The Game of Thrones.
