I have been writing forever, and been serious about publication for the last 2 years. I usually write 2-4 hours a day. I am unpublished, but have written several novels. Can’t think of a better way to spend my free time!

Brandon Sanderson, Dan Wells, my experience as an English major in college, and all sorts of “news of the weird.”

Divergent by Veronica Roth, Revolution by Jennifer Donnelly, 13 Reasons Why by Jay Asher, Ender’s Game by Orson Scott Card. My forever favorite book is The Giver by Lois Lowry because it showed me how amazing books can be.

I spend far too much time writing and far too little time doing housework. When I’m not writing, I’m chasing my overactive one-toddler around the house while he giggles like an evil villain. A little part of my heart is African after volunteering twice in Ghana. I have a BA in English from BYU, and live in Utah with my husband and son.
