| I'm currently writing... |
I am currently editing a contemporary middle grade novel. It’s about a sister and brother who sneak off to Washington D.C. to try to meet President Obama. I have 3 CPs right now (early March) but expect that I’ll be free to exchange again in April or early May, so if anyone is looking for a CP around then, please message me. My manuscripts are around 30K, and though I’ve critiqued friends’ manuscripts of 100K+ in the past, this time I’d prefer to keep it under 70K. |

| My writing influences are... |
Any MG novel that tugs at the heartstrings. “When You Reach Me” by Rebecca Stead and “Rules” by Cynthia Lord are two favorites. I also love MG humor such as “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” |
| Books I enjoy reading |
I love middle grade, first and foremost. I do enjoy adult and young adult books, but MG is where my heart is. |

| More About Me |
I’m a 20-something in the Washington D.C. area. I work with kids, which helps give me the middle grade perspective. Besides writing and reading, I enjoy playing video games, going to concerts, taking long walks, and watching a small amount of TV. My favorite show right now is Revenge. |
