Looking to Critique

I am working on a fantasy novel entitled FIREPATH. It is finished and I am editing it. In a classic quest set in a contemporary setting, sixteen-year-old protagonist, Jude, must harness the power of the Heir of Fire and find a child that she believes lost and prisoner. Along the road, she will be joined by her estranged sister Sylvia, who abandoned her when she was a child, and by Mihali, a hit man sent by a secret society of alchemists to protect her.

I started writing as a hobby about six years ago, and with time this has become a major interest in my life. During daytime I am an adjunct professor at the City University of New York. For the last few years I have been the organizer of a writers’ group, called New Providence Writers (in NJ). We meet almost every week. So I am experienced with critiquing, although not a pro.
