Reviving my account because I have changed my writing projects! I am currently writing a humorous contemporary romance novella that’s set in Manila. The main character is a pastry chef working out of her family’s cake shop, and her love interest is a videographer with a mysterious past. What brings them together is her best friend’s wedding, which goes out of control as the bride becomes more stuck to tradition. Possible critique partners/beta readers must be highly familiar with Filipino culture, though a familiarity with food businesses also helps! |

I am an English major who concentrated on Creative Writing in college. Now I mainly write on my down time. |
| My writing influences are... |
Pop culture fascinates me (I’m addicted to TV shows and gossip sites) but I am also influenced by current events and other real-life experiences. Just talking to people and listening to their stories can be an inspiration for me. |
| Books I enjoy reading |
I will read anything with a good story – but I like to read chick lit and mystery novels on my downtime. Throw a little humor in it and I’m sold! |
