| I'm currently writing... |
I have several projects in the works: 1) A novel set in 1890s England, focusing on the culture clash between the strict older generations of the upper/middle classes and the optimistic youths ushering in the 20th century 2) A novel set in present-day Philadelphia, playing off of the classic fairy tale of “Beauty and the Beast” 3) A series of short (c. 8-10k word) Victorian romances that feature people discovering and exploring their sexuality in a repressive era |

| More About Me |
I’m a twenty-something living in a cramped apartment in southern Indiana, trying to scrape together a living by spinning yarns. I hold degrees in biology and library science, neither of which (a) secured me a job or (b) have much to do with what or how I write :p I like character-driven stories in realistic settings (though “realistic” can include fantasy worlds done well). My pet peeves include Mary Sues, pseudo-science, and thinly veiled misogyny/misandry/racism. Fair warning: my morals tend to be ambiguous and my plots on the slow side. |

I have a vague memory of receiving an email from someone who won my first novel in a LibraryThing giveaway, recommending this site |
