Is anyone available to look over the opening chapter of a contemporary new adult sometime this coming week?

This is actually the spin off of another NA royalty romance but I’m having having trouble making this one stand alone while still getting some necessary characters and the setting introduced.

Combined, the first two chapters are a bit under 4,000 words. One is hte heroine’s POV. Two the hero’s.

I have experience in contemporary, paranormal, historical and GLBT romance and am happy to swap crits.

    Hi Kit!

Are you still looking for a CP to exchange with?
My name is Sherry, and I am interested in exchanging chapters with an experienced critique partner. Most of my CPs are drafting new projects and are unavailable right now. I saw your ad and thought I’d get in touch with you.
My current WIP is a 75k word NA suspenseful romance and its needs some tough love.
Genres I write: Urban Fantasy, Horror, Romantic Suspense, Science Fiction / Post-Apocalyptic, New adult, and Paranormal Romance. (All of my work has a romance element.)
I am not repped by an agent, but I have come close a few times. And I’m VERY passionate and dedicated to the craft. Currently, I am published with an Indie press. If you want to check out my books and writing style, you can visit these sites:

I’m not much of a beta reader, but I can offer you a detailed developmental edit, if that’s what your MS needs at this stage. I work from home and like to exchange at a pretty fast rate.
Please email me back if you’re interested in discussing the possibility of becoming CPs. 😉
