Usually the only options discussed in publishing are traditional publishing vs. self publishing. What if there was another option? I wanted to post about a new website called pubslush.com. It is a socially interactive publishing website that curates books from aspiring authors that might not have otherwise been published. Basically authors upload a summary or their books and a sample, and users fund submissions they want to see published. If the book reaches 2,000 supporters, it is published. It’s all about letting the people decide what should be published! In addition to giving a voice to undiscovered writing talent, PUBSLUSH also gives a book, for every book sold, to a child in need.
They are also currently running a contest for the top 3 submissions by October 15th. The top 3 all get an ipad2 and a spot on the homepage.
